I loved the paneer, tandoori chicken, and the tuna appetizer. Drinks are also delicious and well made. The night we came in for dinner, Jude waited on us. He was a fantastic server and really knew the menu and the food. He had some great recommendations. I like that Ela Curry is larger than Stage; the noise level is better at Ela. I find Stage can get quite noisy when it is busy. I also love their ample patio dining space. I can't wait to come back up for happy hour. ”

“ Came here for date night recently. The restaurant looks very upscale and the bar was very nice. The service was very quick and made sure we always had water and fresh set of utensils and plates. The mango lassi was tasty and not overly sweet. We tried the calamari and the chili paneer for starters. The chutney for the calamari was really good but the star was the paneer. I just wish the plate had more of that flavorful paneer and a bit less veggies. For the main we shared the lamb shank and the meat fell off the bone tender. Will definitely return. ”

“ Ela Curry is a restaurant is part of the same group known for Stage Kitchen also in Palm Beach Gardens, and delivers a stellar menu of cuisine that tantalizes the senses. Located in Donald Ross Plaza on the south side of Donald Ross Road, this restaurant offers both delectable eats and refreshing cocktails that will have you returning for more. We were taken care of by Jude (yes, as in "Hey, Jude" by the Beatles), who was an amazing server; personable, had a great knowledge of the cuisine and understanding of what your party will want to order. I will come back just to be served by him because he is amazing. For my money, the lamb shank nihari is what you need to order for the main course. It was rich, savory, and cooked to perfection will it melted in your mouth. Another standout was the tuna bhelpuri that I could have noshed for any meal of the day because it was that good. The puffed rice, crispy lentils, and chutneys complement the tuna and avocado incredibly well and provide a nice spiciness as well. If you are seeking something a little lighter but still give you a savory dish experience, the pork belly dohkleh can satisfy just fine, served with Thai chili, lime, and red onion. Additionally, I had some winter black truffle naan that went well with the chili coconut crunch chutney. The latter also went well with the lamb when we were served it. For dessert, the mango saffron cheesecake with cardamom was magical. Very magical. For cocktails, Ela Curry offers similar options that you can find at Stage further south such as the Hot and Bothered and Palm Beach Problems. Both are made with the same craftsmanship and piquant flavors that you can find at Stage Additionally, the Mai Tai Me Up and Chai An Espresso Martini are wonderful drinks to enjoy -- just make sure it's not too late in the evening when you order the latter one if you are having dessert because you won't be falling asleep anytime soon thereafter. And if you want to order off menu and stick something more classic, the bartenders make an excellent extra dirty gin martini with blue cheese stuffed olives that I had with Botanist. We will return to Ela Curry for more dining experiences, especially when they have a happy hour in the late afternoon to enjoy their fare and drink specials. And being served by Jude was awesome. ”
